1st June 2005 - Imagineer Systems At The Broadcast Production Show 2005

·

Imagineer Systems will be giving the latest version of monet, v1.5, its European debut at The Broadcast Production Show (June 1st - 3rd 2005). Imagineer Systems Managing Director, Allan Jaenicke, will also be speaking at one of the show's many sessions, highlighting the huge potential of product placement in television funding.

Aimed at the broadcast, film and video post-production markets, monet is a unique tool offering a start-to-finish solution for replacing elements in film and video. monet 1.5 features a host of new tools and optimisations that increase its already impressive price/performance ratio. New features include: the ability to work with proxies and dynamically switch between different proxy resolutions; the export of tracking data to Avid DS; support for working with material with 3:2 pull-down; the ability to place an element in 3D space; support for colour highlight and shadow passes and a completely new tool for the extrapolation of tracks to handle shots where an object disappears from the frame.

Optimisation improvements include: better performance when working with HD and film clips; improved overlays; improved keyframe controls and enhanced tracking data export to Shake.

Allan meanwhile will be stressing the practical uses of monet and the valuable revenue stream that effective product placement can open up during a panel session on The Future of Television Funding taking place between 12.30 and 13.30 on Friday June 3rd. The workshops at the show are free to attend on the day, but if visitors want to guarantee their place the price per session is £15. Places can be pre-booked via www.productionshow.com immediately.
